Some of Vitalityplay’s most creative and innovative work comes in our play areas. Utilising both play equipment and a wide range of surfacing and designs Vitalityplay can offer a comprehensive choice of play areas tailored to your space size and budget.
Starting with a survey, Vitalityplay will work with your ideas to create bespoke 3D designs that is fantastic for visualising how the final product will look. The operations team will then manage your project, liaising with the dedicated Vitalityplay installation team who will carry out the project. All of our installers are DBS checked and we can provide temporary fencing if required so the project can be carried out during term-time.
The range of surfaces include many types of artificial grass in various colours and pile heights. These can be installed with a cushion pad that’s great for a soft landing under equipment or for little ones. The design possibilities for grass is also wide – we can install hopscotches; number boards; roads and almost anything you can think of. Wet pour is a rubber surface that Vitalityplay provide. Again this is a great safety surface that we can make softer as you require. The rubber comes with a 5 year warranty and a wide range of graphics are available. Once again number games, snakes and roads are all possible, offering great engagement for younger pupils learning through play. Lastly rubber mulch can be used as a soft surface in play areas. It comes in a small range of darker colours and is appropriate for younger children and under play equipment.
Vitalityplay also install play equipment that can be a fantastic way of getting your students active outside. Our products include a comprehensive trim trail range, climbing frames and gym equipment. Our surveyors will be able to take you through the full range of options and advise where safety surfacing is required.
Vitalityplay provide two types of rubber surfacing – Wet Pour and Mulch, both coming with a 5 year warranty. Both of these are great as safety surfaces, play areas and mini sports areas.
Wet Pour is made up of bonded rubber granules to make a solid surface. The surface layer (EDPM) is available in a full range of colours and can be made into designs and graphics like hopscotches, roads and number snakes. These can be great encouragement to younger children to learn whilst playing. The bottom layer is a much softer configuration (SBR) and is used to cushion the surface. The base layer can be made thicker to your requirements if you have young children or play equipment to consider.
